Galilee – Sajur
HistoryOwing to its location, the ITC Galilee - Sajur holds the promise of becoming a flagship for coexistence in Israel. Surrounded by Circassian, Druze, Christian-Arab and Muslim-Arab villages, as well as Jewish towns and the large city of Karmiel, the Center is designed to serve as a meeting ground for the different religious and ethnic communities in the area. Through unique equal opportunity scholarships and programs, the ITC Galilee - Sajur will afford the children of these communities the opportunity to acquire life skills while developing an appreciation for different cultures and religions. A unique feature of the Israel Tennis Center-Galil is a meeting hall honoring and commemorating the Druze heritage to be utilized by children, teens, adults, IDF soldiers, members of the security forces and the Druze community from the surrounding towns and villages.
