Exhibition: Chandos Tennis Club, London, UK
Chandos is delighted to support a wonderful event in aid of the Israel Tennis Centre – a flyer is attached for further information about the centre and the fantastic work they do. We are looking forward to welcoming some of the under-privileged Israel children from the centre who will showcase their exceptional talents with an exhibition match and some play against our own Junior members. This will be followed by a short DVD and brief talk by Mr Danny Gelley, CEO of Israel Tennis Centre.
Chandos is thrilled that Andy Ram and Dudi Sela, champion doubles players who started their playing careers with the Israel Tennis Centre, will also be at the club to talk about their exceptional careers, chat with members and maybe even hit a ball or two!! As many of you may remember, Andy Ram came to Chandos and held a coaching clinic for our Juniors a couple of years back. Andy and Dudi will, once again, be playing at the Wimbledon Championships the following day so we are in for a real treat!
The Israel Tennis Centre is always looking for volunteers and any contribution of time or a donation would make a significant difference to them. If you can help in any way, please do not hesitate to email thelmaepstein@gmail.com. Thelma is a committed campaigner and would be delighted to answer any of your questions and explain how you could benefit the charity.
If you know anyone that would be interested in joining us on the day, please do bring them along. All we would ask is you RSVP to Laurel, Club Secretary at Chandos as, due to security precautions, names will be required.
